October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

According to the World Health Organization, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, claiming the lives of hundreds of thousands of women each year and affecting countries at all levels of modernization.

There is some good news, we have seen a gradual reduction in female breast cancer incidence rates among women age 50 and older.

These are some facts that I dug up. 1 in every 8 woman will be diagnosed in her life time.  Early detection and healthy living can help you get ahead of the disease.  Personally, My Aunt was recently diagnosed at 50. (me being 42 this was a bit of a holy sh*t moment.  I right away showed my daughters how to check themselves.)

The point to all of this is I want to help.  The best I can is a small donation. So this month I want to give 10% of my sales to the Susan G Komen fund.  This in turn will help my Aunt who is now getting radiation therapy.

You can help support my baby brand and know its going to a good cause.
